As a member of the Somerset Golf Captains Association, we are writing to you to tell you about our new Privacy Notice which has been published to coincide with the new Data Protection and Privacy law. These changes came in to effect on the 25th May 2018.
The new Privacy Notice will make it easier for you to find out how we use, and protect, your personal information within the Association of Somerset Golf Captains. Your personal information includes your name, address, phone number and emails address.
The way we use your personal information will be the same. The new Privacy Notice will give you more information on:
- What personal information we collect about you and how we use it.
- How we keep your information secure.
- Your increased rights about your personal information that we hold.
- The legal basis for how we use your personal information.
The Privacy Notice will apply to personal information we hold in connection with your membership.
The Privacy Notice is available for all members to see in the top menu on the website somersetgolfcaptains.co.uk or you can email a request to the secretary who will provide a copy.
